The four turtles facing each other represent children coming together, playing and being accepting of one another. The footprints and the lines in the sand represent the children in wheelchairs as they enjoy the sand, water and the fresh air with other children. The circles and "u" shapes in the painting represent the gathering of teachers and students coming together. The four turtles from the egg to the large sea turtle that swims across the painting represent the growth of the students from prep to graduation on the journey in their stages of learning and growing in life.
